Twin Axis Principal developed a suite of immersive virtual reality experiences for a major replacement hospital project serving west LA communities. It gave project teams, stakeholders, and community groups a way to evaluate the design from the inside before construction began. Built in Unity3D, the work addressed two distinct scales simultaneously: the building's relationship to its neighborhood, and the experience of a patient inside a room. The exterior experience synchronized real-time 3D environments with spatial acoustic recordings to simulate actual neighborhood conditions (wind, traffic, ambient sound) giving community stakeholders a grounded sense of how the hospital would sit within its context. Interior deliverables included a full lobby walkthrough and a full-scale patient room mockup built for design optioneering across room configuration, circadian lighting, facade shading, and acoustic performance. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Data Stack: BIM | LiDAR | 360 Video Photography | 3D Microphone | PBR Materials | Daylighting | Photometric Lighting | Unity3D C#
