For Creativity Blooms, an immersive experiential art installation by Hou de Sousa for Adobe, I contributed across experiential environments, lighting design, and visualization to help shape a pedestrian connection into a vivid, walk-through landscape of light, color, and sculptural form. My work included lighting design concepts, 3D renderings, animation studies of dynamic color-changing LED effects, and a technical feasibility report with product comparisons and recommendations. I also reviewed lighting layouts and electrical diagrams to help ensure the design vision could be delivered in a technically viable way. Lighting played a central role in the experience, accentuating the sculptural trees, illuminated root structures, and Adobe branding to create depth, atmosphere, and visual drama. Together with the installation’s sculptural elements and seating, the lighting transformed the bridge into a surreal and memorable public environment that invited movement, pause, and discovery while reflecting both San Jose’s agricultural legacy and Adobe’s creative identity.
